Allan was a son of Joe & Jean Kulyk born July 18, 1950 in North Battleford growing up on the farm and attending Ranger School just east of the farm from grades 1-8 then to St. Thomas college for grade 9 & 10 and graduated from Battleford High School.

Allan's work career started by working for Collin's Electric learning to be an electrician for a few years.  He then moved to Alberta and worked for ASL Paving doing work around Bonnyville, St. Paul and Cold Lake areas for a few years.  He then came back to North Battleford and along with a few friends they started up their own paving company called ACM Paving.  After a few years he decided to go back to work as and electrician with Buhler Electric where he became a Journeyman Electrician.  He then moved on to work for L7 Electric and became Rob's main guy from early 1997 until 2013 when he semi-retired.  During those years Allan also did some farming with his father Joe and Brother Lorne.

In Allan's adventurist life he enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, stock car racing, playing cards, travelling, hitch hiking, fishing, camping and his latest hobby was flying his drone exploring new places taking pictures and videos.  Allan also enjoyed playing pool and went on the play in tournaments locally and even in Edmonton and Las Vegas.

Allan was at a treasure hunt where he met his soul mate Hazel and they were married on July 3, 1993.  Allan's family had expanded taking his new family into his heart to love and cherish as his own.  Allan and Hazel lived in Battleford until about 6 years ago when they decided to move to Hafford.

Allan was an active member of the Battleford's Legion Branch No 9. During those years he also organized some of the fiddle contests in the Battleford's.

During Allan's younger years he enjoyed riding motorcycles and after years of not owning one and riding he bought himself a Harley Road King when he turned 60 and enjoyed it very much and loved to go riding.  Allan became a member of the Canadian Legion of Riders volunteering and being on the executive committee meeting other members and riders where friendships were made.

Throughout Allan's life he made friends with everyone he met along the way.  In Allan's world there were no strangers only friends he hadn't met.  There are lots of stories that could be told of Allan's lifelong journey but for everyone that knew Allan of was part of his life will remember him in their own special ways.

Allan will be remembered and not forgotten.  To some of you he was a great friend, an uncle, a relative, a brother-in-law, a husband, a father, a grandfather and a great-grandfather and to us a brother unlike no one else could be.
