Helen Williams

February 24, 1941 - July 24, 2017

Helen passed away peacefully on Monday July 24, 2017 with her family by her side.  Leaving to mourn are her two daughters Sharon Bodnarchuk of Victoria, B.C. and her two children Ryan Williams of Edmonton, AB, Lyndi Krushelinski of Moose Jaw; Sharlene (Tim) of Parksville B.C. and their two children, Bert Haines of New Zeleand; and Stacey Bodnarchuk of Calgary, AB. her step children Kelly (Rick) and their three children, Jamie, Jeremy and Josh all of Alaska, USA, Justin (Sylvia) and their two children Brayden and Kelsey all of Saskatoon, Sk, Warren (Eva) and their two children Austin and Zachary all of Iowa, USA, and her sister-in-law Elsie Bodnarchuk and her children.  She was predeceased by her parents Rose and John Bodnarchuck, her brother Alex Bodnarchuk and Nick Bodnarchuk and her husband Ken Williams.  Helen grew up in the Oscar Lake district and later moved to Saskatoon, Sk where she worked as a waitress and raised her two daughters.  Helen then met Ken Williams and they were married November 3, 1971.  They lived in Saskatoon where they ran a trucking business together and later moved to Warman where they resided until Ken's passing on February 10, 1994.  Helen then moved back to Saskatoon where she did odd sewing jobs for people.  She loved being around family and friends and she took this opportunity to spend time them. On July 27, 1999 Helen's tenth grandchild, Brayden was born.  Helen spent her days taking care of Brayden while Justin and Sylvia were at work.  She would say that she was lucky because she got to start being a grandmother all over again as her nine other grandchildren were older.  Two years later December 9, 2001 Helen welcomed her eleventh grandchild, Kelsey Williams.  Helen made beautiful crocheted blankets and jackets.  She was also amazing with a sewing machine.  At Helen's request there will not be a funeral.  Interment to take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trevor Watts of Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium.
