Mary Ann Luella Gartner

Ms. Mary Ann Gartner resident of Battleford, SK passed away at her residence Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the age of 55 years.  A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, March 7th 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the "Garden Chapel" - Battlefords Funeral Service with Father Cuong Luong officiating.  Interment will be held at the Macklin Cemetery.  Memorial donations in memory of Ms. Mary Ann Gartner may be directed to Canadian Mental Health Assoc ~ Battlefords Branch 1602 103 St, North Battleford, SK S9A 1L7.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trevor Watts of Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium.

Mary Ann Luella Gartner  April 2nd, 1963 – February 28th, 2019

It is with sadness that the family of Mary Ann Luella Gartner announce her passing at her residence on February 28th, 2019, at the age of 55. Mary Ann was born in Hafford, raised in Macklin, and spent most of her adult life in the Battlefords area.  Mary Ann’s joys in life were her  four grandchildren and her cats (her babies). She had an enthusiastic love for Christmas and anything with Santa on it. She loved hockey and was often found yelling at the T.V. for her favorite hockey team Calgary Flames to win. She also enjoyed fishing, baking, gardening, playing bingo, telling jokes, working on vehicles and telling stories. Mary Ann is survived by her daughters April (Mike) McGinnis, grandchildren Kaidin and Carissa; and June (Curtis) Brad, grandchildren Izaac and Phoenix. She is also survived by her four siblings and various extended family members. She is predeceased by her parents Otto and Hilda Gartner, grandparents, and six of her siblings.
