Sandra was born on November 14, 1961 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. From childhood she had a passion for home improvement projects and renovations, which carried on into her later years by regularly renovating her home and the spot at Martins Lake every spring and summer. She accomplished these projects by spending many hours watching her favorite channel HGTV. Another love of Sandra’s was cheering on her favorite football team the Saskatchewan Roughriders. She enjoyed watching the games live at Mosaic or sitting on the deck with her family and friends. Sandra loved to travel. From Martins Lake to Las Vegas, as well as, overseas with her husband in Ireland and Scotland, no matter where she went, she enjoyed each adventure to the fullest. Sandra was a hard-working woman who took pride in everything she did, including her career at the City of Saskatoon Assessment Department.
Sandra has left a hole in the hearts of all the family and many friends who were a part of her life. She will be lovingly remembered and missed always by her family; husband Richard, daughters Lauren (Nate) and Alanah, as well as her beloved Koko; her parents Lorne and Janice Preston, sister Leslie (Merv) Caron and brother Jeff Preston, father-in-law Morris Shyluk, brothers-in-law David (Linda) Shyluk, Michael Shyluk and sister-in-law Marj (Colin) Hagarty as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sandra was predeceased by her grandparents, aunty and uncles, her mother-in-law and her beloved dog Koko.
