Annie Chudyk, nee Buziak

 The family wishes to announce the passing of Annie Chudyk on February 18, 2025 at the Battleford’s District Care Centre in Battleford, Sask at the age of 91 years, where she was known as Baba.

Left to cherish her memory, are her children; Bogdan, Dorothy, Mary, Michael and Roseanne; as well as her grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Annie was born in the Lorenzo district and was raised in the Mayfair area, where she met her husband, Yona. Together they moved to North Battleford in 1967 where they continued to raise their family.

 Annie was very kind and giving. If you were hungry, she would give fresh produce, baked goods, food or her last dollar if you needed it. She always had time for visitors and loved having company over for a cup of coffee. She would show you her blossoming flowers alongside the house and how well her garden was growing.

 She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren, gardening, baking, cooking and picking mushrooms and berries in the summer. Annie had a love of animals and also worked breaking horses.

 Annie worked at McDonalds as a custodian for many years, then later in life, she delivered up to 7 routes of local newspapers well into her late 70s and early 80s. She enjoyed all the miles walking and greeting the residents with a smile and hello along her routes.

Annie was predeceased by her mother and father, Magdelina (Maude) and Nikolas (Nick) Buziak, her brother, Walter and her first born son, Raymond.

Baba will be greatly missed by all of us.

 In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
