It is with heavy hearts, the family of Blaine Hamel announces his passing on Sunday, July 5, with his family by his side. at the Battlefords Union Hospital Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the age of 46 years. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Town of Battleford Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Mr. Blaine Hamel may be directed to BUH Foundation- Palliative Care Unit Po Box 1358 North Battleford, SK S9A 3L8 or to the Bridges for Children- Living Faith Chapel 1371 103rd St North Battleford ,SK S9A 1K9. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trevor Watts of Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium.
His love for the outdoors hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling with his family and buddies are memories they will cherish forever.
Blaine will always be loved and cherished by his wife Tara; his children: Taylor, Tayler, Austin, Brooklyn, Mackenna, and his grandson Ryker; his fur babies: Casey, Bailey, Thelma, and Louise; his parents Bernard and Opal of Saskatoon, SK; his brother Kevin (Sandy), niece Emily, nephew Quaid of Red Deer, AB; inlaws Wilfred and Joyce of North Battleford SK; brother in law Mike (Sandy), Nephews Keenan, Carter and Linkin of Edmonton, AB; Grandpa Leo Sordi of Trail BC; and Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many many friends.
Blaine is predeceased by his grandparents Mickey and Lucille Hushagn; David and Terese Hamel and Joan Sordi.
