Clifford Leroy Evenson

Clifford Leroy Evenson of Ogema Saskatchewan passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on July 21, 2019.  Clifford was born in Manitoba on April 29, 1927.  He married Dorothy Grace McBain on January 26, 1945.

Clifford is predeceased by his wife Dorothy of 72 years, his mother (Ingeborg) and father (Oscar), sister (Marion), brothers (Vern and Orefield), his daughters (Darlene 6 months) and (Sharon 47 years).  Clifford is survived by his daughters Joan (Charlie), Betty (Bill), Debbie (Wayne), Tanis (Debra Faye) along with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Clifford was a wonderful husband and father.  Clifford and Dorothy spent their last years staying with their daughters Tanis (Edmonton AB) and Debbie in (Maidstone SK).  His granddaughter Darlene spent time with him the last year of his life, which he enjoyed greatly.

Clifford was especially fond of his fur “grand babies”.  Clifford worked for different municipalities over the years.  He loved working either in his garage or in their yard.  Clifford liked to sit and talk to people about the good old days farming, and working on the road building roads and bridges.  One of his most favorites quotes was; “if your going to do a job, do it right or don’t do it at all”.

When Clifford’s wife passed away a year and a half ago, he lost his spark.  Dorothy was his rock and his foundation in life.  Clifford is now with his love for all eternity.  He will be deeply missed.
