Dale Bertsch Obituary

The family of Dale Marcus Bertsch sadly announce his passing on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the Battleford Union Hospital after a brave battle with cancer. He was 74 years old. Born August 20, 1949 in Kerrobert Saskatchewan, as the third (twin) of 8 children to Joseph and Genevieve Bertsch.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; three sons and their families: Bradley (Anne Margrete) – grandchildren: Oliver and Jenny; Colin (Casey) – grandson, Channing; Tyson (Ashley) - grandchildren Tayla & Benton. He is also survived by siblings: Cyril, Dave, Melvin, Marilyn, Murray and Allan.

He was predeceased by his parents: Joseph & Genevieve Bertsch and brother, Wilfred.

A Celebration of Life will take place next summer.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff of the BUH and Cancer Center who were involved in his care.
