Daniel Zephire Demers

It is with deep sadness that his family announces on behalf of Daniel Zephire Demers that he has went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April-11-2026 at the age of 65 and is survived by the many who loved him.

Danny was truly unique in so many ways. Where so many of us will be unpleasant to others with the excuse, we were having a bad day, that wasn’t Danny’s character.

Danny had many, many of what most would consider, “Bad Days”. Yet Danny presented himself to the world in his peaceful character, evident to all who came to know him.

His final battle was with liver cancer, yet he remained congenial and was physically active until 48 hours before his passing.

 Danny left this world from the North Battleford Hospital surrounded by Staff (Genuine Caregivers because they were so much more than just staff) that cared for him and shared with his attending family deep compassion and genuine love: and it was shown to Danny.

Danny left his earthly life so peaceful, surrounded by love.

In keeping with Danny’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Danny’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the Saskatchewan Hospital, #1 Jersey Street, North Battleford, SK at 1:30 PM.

  There will be a private Celebration of Danny’s life for his family at the Saamis Prairie View Cemetery, Medicine Hat, Alberta at a later date.
