Donald Hollingshead Obituary

It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Mr. Donald Hollingshead Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the age of 87 years. As per Donald's request no formal service will be held. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trevor Watts of Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium.

Donald leaves to mourn his loving wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Hollingshead- North Battleford, SK; step-children: Doyle Boyer- Fort Nelson, BC (Rylee Aubee - Camrose, AB); Darron Boyer- North Battleford, SK; Dawn Boyer – North Battleford, SK; his siblings: Glen (Lynne) Hollingshead- Rosedale, BC, Fern (Dennis) Born – Portage la Prairie, MB; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Donald was predeceased by his father, Arthur Merton (Mert) Hollingshead; his mother, Jean Knapp; his siblings: Queenie, Wesley and Janet.

We will be left with so many memories of Donald: his travel adventures, skunk train tours, fishing and camping trips. Donald volunteered at the Western Development Museum where he worked and restored Steam Tractors. He loved reading about history, skunk train history, travel etc.

Donald carried a somewhat dry sense of humour and stories galore over a glass of heated Grande Marnier or Golden.

We will cherish all he bought to our lives.
