Dorothy Grace Ray

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Mrs. Dorothy Ray with family by her side on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at River Heights Lodge at the age of 95 years.  A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 18, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Meota Community Complex.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Dorothy Ray are requested to the Meota Cemetery Fund, Canadian Arthritis Society or to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.

 Dorothy is survived by her children: Miles (Darla) Ray, Sheila (Don) Orchison, Aaron Ray (Pam), Melodie (Bernard) Nedelec; grandchildren: Michele (Neil) Lascelle, Andrea Ray, Katrina Ray, Presley Ray (Joey), Nathan Orchison, Randy (Cherelle) Orchison, Nicole (Kent) Headrick, Justin Ray, Dylan Ray (Jessica), Shelby (Ryan) Knutson, Zachary Nedelec (Emma), Brittany Nedelec (Cody); 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Tom (Naomi) Shepherd; sister, Muriel Nachtegaele; sister-in-law, Margaret Ray and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Ray; brother, Edward Shepherd; great-grandson, Ashley Lascelle; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law and parents: Eric and Ruth Shepherd.
