It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ms. Ernestine Nicotine announce her sudden passing on February 25, 2026 at the age of 50 years.

Left to cherish Ernestine’s memory is her loving partner, David Armstrong; children: Cheystin Armstrong, Tyrell Armstrong, David Armstrong JR.; adopted daughter, Petula Bugler; grandchildren: Colten Ballentyne, Justice Wolfe; mother, Bertha Nicotine; brothers: Grant Beaudry (Delores), Dennis Nicotine, Cedric Nicotine (Renee), Cameron Nicotine (Kristen), Christopher Nicotine; sisters: Veronica Shelton, Dinah Falcon; aunts: Shannon Fineday, Cecelia Nicotine; special friend, Catherine Starblanket; special nephews: Isaiah Wahpenahwahsis, Steadman Chakita.

She was predeceased by her son, Justice Armstrong; father, Harry Nicotine; brother, Archie Nicotine; sister, Denise Nicotine; maternal and paternal grandparents; niece, Summer Dawn Myo; aunts: Emily Benson, Evelyn Lewis, Mary Elder.

Wake Service began Friday, February 27, 2026.

The Funeral Service for Ernestine will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clifford Wuttunee School in Red Pheasant Cree Nation. Interment will follow at the Red Pheasant Anglican Cemetery.
