We honour the memory of Esther Magosse who loved and cared for her family and was devoutly committed to her faith.
Born Oct 1, 1938 in Battleford, SK, to Ernestine (nee Reichle) and Reynold Nesselbeck, Esther was predeceased by her husband Gerald, her parents and her siblings: Dolores, Dorothy, Erwin, Donald, Conrad, Richard and Cathy.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: daughter, Christine (Alex Russell and granddaughter, Madeline); daughter, Patricia (Rod Allan); son, Daniel; and son, Matthew (Angie Marple and grandson, Ryder). As well she is survived by her sisters: Ellen, Marlyn (Keith), and Luisa; sisters-in-law, Meda and Betty; and many nieces and nephews in the Magosse and Nesselbeck families; and her very dear friend, Annie Burnouf, who was her constant companion in her last years at Harwood Manor.
Esther grew up in Battleford, seventh of eleven children. Her family spent their summers at their cabin in Cochin, SK where she met Gerald Magosse who farmed nearby. After finishing her studies in Saskatoon, she returned to Battleford and soon married Gerry and moved to the farm on Murray Lake.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she loved her life on the farm beside the lake. We especially remember her enjoyment of laughter and music, her passion for gardening and her dedication to her church. She was a warm and loving mother and grandmother to us and we deeply miss her.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Harwood Manor for their kind and compassionate care of our mother, in her last years.
