It is with heavy hearts the family of Fred Katcheech announce his passing on December 31, 2024.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving family: His wife, Connie Redcalf; His children: Sabrina (Gonz), Samantha (Clark), Muriel (Adrian), Chester (Michelle), Jordan, Marcella, Colin (Randine), Tamara, Petrina, Justin, Tiffany (Alexander), Robin, Sonya and Shiralee; His brothers and sisters: Gary, Dennis (Dorothy), Amy (Leo), Doris and Stanley; Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives He is predeceased by his son, Evan Redcalf; grandson, Wade Whitehead; mother, Mary Frances Moccasin; father, Francis Moccasin; paternal grandparents, Sam and Minnie Moccasin; maternal grandparents, Alex and Emma Katcheech; brothers: Leo Sr. and Archie; sisters: Eliza, Louisa and Edna; sister-in-laws, Ada and Katie; his aunties: Isobel Ben, Mary Ann Katcheech, Mary Atcheynum, Barbara Bear and Cecile Gopher and uncle, Toby Katcheech.
A Wake will be held at Saulteaux Heritage School Gymnasium on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. With a Service on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium Apprentice Funeral Director- Tessa Bell.
