Geraldine Mitchell Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Geraldine Enid Mitchell on May 25, 2023 at the Battlefords Union Hospital at the age of 92 years. Geraldine, more affectionately known as “Grandy” by her family and friends, will be deeply missed by her husband, Don Mitchell; two daughters: Pamela & Shelda and her grand and great-grandchildren.

The celebration of her life will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 – 1:30 p.m. at the Battlefords United Church, Battleford, SK with Reverend Nora Borgeson as officiant. Interment to follow the service at the Town of Battleford Cemetery.

Memorial donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to the CNIB Foundation - 1149 8th St. E, Saskatoon SK S7H 0S3 or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan - 301 2550 12th Ave, Regina SK S4P 3X1. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Memories Funeral Service and Crematorium – Vanessa Macnab Funeral Director.
