Gordon Alan McMillan

The family and friends of Gordon Alan McMillan are saddened to announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the age of 74 years, surrounded by family and close friends.

Gordon was a hardworking carpenter who took great pride in his craft and the life he built. He had a deep love for the outdoors and was happiest when hunting, fishing, spending time up north, or relaxing at his beloved cabin at Brightsand Lake. Gordon also had a passion for fast cars and enjoyed the freedom and adventure they brought him.

Though he never sought recognition, Gordon was proud of the many health and children’s charities he quietly supported over the years. His generosity and compassion reflected his belief in helping others and making a difference where he could.

More than anything, Gordon will be remembered for his friendship, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and the many memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer at Gordon’s cabin at Brightsand Lake, where family and friends will gather to honor his life and share memories.
