Bugler, Harvey Augustine

Aug 13, 1941 – June 30, 2026

It is with a heavy heart the family of Harvey Bugler announce his passing in North Battleford, SK on June 30, 2026 at the age of 84 years.

 Left to remember all that he was and treasure his legacy is his loving family; his children, Loretta Assiniboine of North Battleford, Darcy Assiniboine of North Battleford, Patricia (Randy) Semaganis  of Saskatoon, Sherrill (Kelly) Muskwa  of Saskatoon, Kimberly Bugler of Moose Jaw, Kerry Bugler  of Saskatoon. Stepchildren Maynard Assiniboine of Ochapowace First Nation, Cecil(Patti) of White Bear,  Lola Starblanket of Lethbridge, Alberta, Lawrence Bowman of North Battleford, SK, Chrissy Gamble of Cando and Terry Starblanket and adopted daughter, Charlotte (Derek) of Glaslyn. Brother Reggie (Marlene Bugler, Sisters Verna , Arlo and Jeanette (Brian).  Harvey leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and many life long friends.

 Harvey was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Margaret Florence Bugler, brothers, Herman, Pat and Glen; sisters, Shirley and Judy, 1st wife Eileen and 2nd wife Rita, daughter, Lisa  step-daughter Aquilla , grandchildren, Mervin, Hughie and Chelsea, great grandchildren, Ania, Stylus, JR, Keylaya as well step children, Donna, Terrance and Ringo.

Harvey was a well respected Elder of the community. He enjoyed attending Rounddances and Pow Wows. He worked all his life as an addiction worker and enjoyed travelling and visiting his family everywhere.

 A wake will be held on July 1, 2026 at the Clifford Wuttunee School in Red Pheasant FN and Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Clifford Wuttunee School Red Pheasant FN. Harvey will be laid to rest in Red Pheasant Cemetery, Red Pheasant FN.
