Helen "Marlene" Krause

Helen "Marlene" Krause passed away at the Battlefords Union Hospital, North Battleford, SK on December 30, 2024 at the age of 79 years.

Marlene is survived by her 5 children; Marilyn (Eldon) Parenteau, Brian (Shonna Attfield) Welz, Robert (Elaine Robson) Welz, David (Janine) Welz and Shelly (Steve Jones) Welz; Grandchildren: Carolyn (Dustin) Keber, Nicole Welz, Zachery, Alyssa and Madison Welz; Great Grandchildren: Caiden, Austin and Brooklyn Keber; Her sister Irene (Ron) Giesbrecht and family. As well as her much cherished church family.

Marlene was predeceased by her husband Robert Krause in 2005, parents Alton (1995) & Violet (1973) and sister Jean Bahr (1949) and granddaughter Lisa Welz. (2006) 

Marlene will always be remembered for her love of Pepsi and anything with sugar. She also had a fondness for fill-in books and anything crafty. But most importantly she loved her family and all animals. 

A Private family service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank Joanne, Yvonne, and Barb. As well as the third floor nurses and a very huge thank you to Mom's palliative care nurse Kayla. There are not enough words to express our heartfelt gratitude.
