Hilda Goudy

It is with heavy hearts the family of Hilda C Goudy announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Villa Pascal in North Battleford, SK at the age of 86 years.

Hilda was born in Scott, SK and grew up in Tramping Lake and Unity, SK. She married and moved to Regina, SK where she raised her two children. She retired in Edmonton, AB and spent her last three years in North Battleford, SK.

Hilda was such a talented, creative and gentle lady who expressed herself through sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting and needlework. She also loved dancing and singing to old songs; she had a great sense of humor and was always learning. Hilda enjoyed playing trivia games and if you were lucky enough to have her on your team, you were guaranteed to win.

Hilda was predeceased by her parents: Mike and Mary Fischer; son-in-law, Len LaFreniere and sister-in-law, Yvonne Fischer. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Debra (Jeff) Baldwin and David Goudy; former spouse, Emerson Goudy; brothers: Allen Fischer, John Fischer, Dennis (Lorraine) Fischer; grandchildren: Tara (Chris) McLaughlin, Julie (Malcom) Dort, Thomas (Shelby Denison) LaFreniere; step-grandchildren: Nathan (Kayla) Baldwin and Elliot (Paige) Baldwin; great-grandchildren: Everleigh McLaughlin, Owen Dort and Cameron Dort; and many nieces and nephews.

A heartfelt thanks goes to all of the staff at the Villa Pascal for their loving care of Hilda.

A memorial celebration remembering Hilda will be announced at a later date.
