Ian Laing Obituary

The family of Ian Laing are saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at the age of 60. A private family service has been arranged.

Ian was born in Cut Knife, and went on to become a welder by trade. He spent most of his life working on the family farm, and was known for his exceptional mechanical ability. He loved family gatherings and spending time with his nieces and nephews, whom he treasured.

Ian was joyously welcomed into heaven by his parents Marion and Calvin, and his sister Georgina. He will be greatly missed by his brother, James (Annie) – son, Josh (Lynzie) and children: Jordan, Katana, and Hannah, brother, Joseph ( Fay ) – Tyrell and Katrina; Georgina’s husband Ron, and their children: Nicholas (Becky), Mitchell (Leah), Kendall ( Aaron).
