Obituary
With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Mrs. Katharina Wolbert on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the age of 81 years with family by her side.
Mom was a maker of socks, baker of bread, gardener extraordinaire, German cuisine extra-ordinary cook, she had a love for animals – especially her chickens, she was a registered LPN, and a person who gave a lot and asked for little!
Left to mourn her passing is her loving husband of 62 years, Walter; children: Dorothea (Bernd), Monica (Ray), Regina (Dragan) and Robert (Karen); ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters: Christa, Mary, Dorothee, Ute; brothers: Joachim (Yak), Rudy & Ollie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loved relatives.
She was predeceased by her parents: Wilhelm & Lieselotte Hengerer and brother, Fritz Hengerer.
A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Katharina may be made to the Shell Lake Lions Club – PO Box 69 Shell Lake, SK S0J 2G0. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Vanessa Macnab of Eternal Memories Funeral Service and Crematorium.
