Kya Curly-Cuthand

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kya Ellen Lena Curly-Cuthand announce her passing on October 7, 2025.

Kya is remembered by her loving parents, Macy Thomas and Kobe Cuthand; brothers: Kingzdin, Kyrie; sisters: Bryleign, Kaybri, Kierra; grandparents: Lynette Wahobin, Matthew Thomas, Sabrina Cuthand, Mandy Cuthand; great-grandparents, Martha Wahobin, Elvis Curly, Edna Thomas; uncles: Breighton Wahobin, Dakota Cuthand, Bryce Cuthand, Romeo Cuthand; aunties: Shantaya, Deshye, Shylynn, Shinayah and Tavontay Wahobin, Ciara Moccasin, Sweetgrass Moccasin, Scarlett Cuthand.

She was predeceased by her uncle, Bryton Wahobin; great-grandparents: Andy Whitefish, Frank Whitefish, Marie Wahoban, Mike Bird; as well by Archie and Lena Curly, Ellen Cuthand, Karen Cuthand, Daniela Cuthand, Wade Whitehead, Lindsay Cuthand, Maggie Cuthand.

The Funeral Service for Kya took place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the Mosquito Band Hall.
