It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Mrs. Linda Day on January 3, 2026, at Royal University Hospital, at the age of 63.
Linda was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, on June 11, 1962, the middle daughter of Douglas and Emily Tucker. She grew up on the Tucker family farm just off Lost Horse Creek with her sisters, Christine and Laurie. Linda attended elementary school and high school in North Battleford. She later continued her post-secondary education in Saskatoon at Kelsey and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Linda met Tim, and they later eloped and were married on June 27, 1986. She worked for the Saskatchewan Health Authority for 30 + years before retiring in 2020 to live at the lake full-time.
Linda and Tim had one daughter, Nicole Kratchmer (Joshua), and two grandchildren, Bridgette and Wyatt. Linda’s grandchildren were her whole world. Whether it was going to the park, swimming in the lake, baking, or crafting, she did everything with them. She will always be remembered as the greatest Gigi anyone could have asked for. She will be greatly missed by many.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. held at the Don Ross Gymnasium.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium - Trevor Watts Funeral Director.
