Obituary
Lloyd was born April 15, 1931 at Regina, SK and passed away peacefully on August 16, 2023 in Battleford, SK. He is survived by his loving family, sons: Ken and Brian; daughter, Gwen and her husband, Kemp; granddaughter, Martine; sisters-in-law: Myrtle and Rose; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents: Harold and Gladys; sisters: Joyce and Doreen and brothers: Bill and Jim.
Lloyd and Florence were married October 1, 1955. They moved to North Battleford in 1965 where they purchased their first business. They enjoyed living here where they made lifelong friends. When Lloyd “retired” in 1994 he found the job he loved best as one of the grounds keepers at Aquadeo Golf Course. They lived at Aquadeo during the summer and wintered in Weslaco, Texas for 20 years. Lloyd was a great father, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by many.
The family would like to thank the staff at Battlefords District Care Centre for the care and compassion they gave Dad over the last few years. They are truly very special people.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, August 24 at 2:00 p.m. - Aquadeo Hall.
Donations can be made to Battleford District Care Centre recreation department.
