Obituary
It is with heavy hearts to family announces the passing of Miss. Madison Rae-Dawn Yew at the age of 15 years. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. held at the Saulteaux First Nation Band Hall with Band Elders officiating. Interment will follow at the Saulteaux Cemetery.
Madison is lovingly remembered by her mother, Esther Moccasin (Rodney A.); father, Dennis Yew; siblings: Marty Moccasin (Mikayla), Jocelyn Moccasin, McKenzie Yew, Karleigh Whitstone; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special cousins and friends: Harmony Moccasin, Sydnie Thomas, Sonny Thomas, Jaden Gopher, Leeland Gopher, Shaniya Gopher, Aniliyah Gopher, Renee Saulteaux, Cherish Saulteaux, Abbi Holder, Keryn Cook, Stephen Buffalo, Olivia Tobbacojuice; aunts: Pauline (Clifford), Emily (Stewart), Allison Myo, Florence (Farron); uncles: Wilson (Pam), Leroy Jr. Moccasin.
She is predeceased by her great-grandparents: Margaret & Louie Moccasin; great-grandparents: Annie & Harry Thomas; grandparents: Barbara Moccasin & Paul Thomas; sister, Dawn René Moccasin; cousins: Marilyn Moccasin, Joshua Moccasin; grandmothers: Cecil Moccasin, Bernice Moccasin.
