It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Mark Edward Bellavance with family by his side on Sunday, March 14th at the age of 62 years.
Mark was born April 28th, 1958, in the Military Hospital in Iserlohn West Germany.
He is survived by his son, Aaron (Karyn) and grandson, Dominic; his daughter, Shauna; his father, Deacon Gil Bellavance; siblings: Charles, Anne-Marie (Andy Benson) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Jean.
Mark served for a short time in the military in his early twenties. He spent most of his working career as a butcher and worked several years in Edmonton and St. Albert. He returned to North Battleford in 2013 shortly after his mother passed away to be closer to family.
Mark was a good and kindly man with a big heart. He was cheerful, friendly, and easy to be around and was always ready to help anyone. Mark always brought with him, his good humour, quick smile, always ready with a joke. In spite of his challenges, he would keep on rain or shine. Those of us still here will miss him. Funeral and burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mark's memory can be directed to the Battlefords Humane Society Po Box 645 North Battleford, SK S9A 2Y7 or the Donor's Choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trevor Watts of Eternal Memories Funeral Service & Crematorium.
