Mary Thomas

It is with sadness that the family of Mary Evelyn Thomas announce her passing on May 16, 2025 at the age of 79 years. 

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children: Iona (Lee), Joanne, Isaac (Latasha), Charlene, Jennifer, Tracey (Dale), Amanda, Matthew (Serena), Kelsey (Byron), Skylar; siblings: Brenda Beaudry, Sharon Jimmy (Albert), Reggie Spyglass (Wendy), Grant Beaudry (Deloris), Chris Odishaw (Pam), Bernadette Thomas, Gene Ouellette, Darwin Atcheynum (Kim); aunt, Jenny Spyglass; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; special grandchild, Breanna Pahtayken; the Bird and Nicotine family.

Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Georgie Thomas; her parents: Henry and Theresa Beaudry, Edward and Jane Tobbaccojuice; her children: Gary Fox, Sharon Fox; grandparents: Jim and Marie Spyglass; grandchildren: Joshua Bill, Century Fox, Anthony Bill, Preston Fox and Sage Baptiste.

The family of Mary would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Battlefords Union Hospital; all those who took care of her.

A service for Mary took place Monday, May 19, 2025 at Sweetgrass First Nation.
