It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nancy Milnthorp, Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the age of 98 years.
Nancy was born in Kirkcudbright, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1928 when she was 2 years old where they lived on a farm in the Edam area.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband George in 2017.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: son, Laurie (Marie) Milnthorp; granddaughter, Kambie Milnthorp; daughter, Darlene (Adrian) Iverson; granddaughter, Stacey (Dan) Meyers; great grandchildren: Danni (Colton) Kohl, Britt (Kyle) Nygaard, Tyson (Brooke) Meyers; grandson, Dustin Iverson; great grandson, Otto Iverson; son, Marvin (Donna) Milnthorp; grandchildren: Brett (Ashley) Milnthorp; great grandchildren: George, Grace and William Milnthorp, Kaitlyn Sundell (Trevor Sundell); great grandchildren: Kolby, Brooklyn and Liam; grandson, Nathan Milnthorp; four great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral service. The family suggests, if desired, a donation can be made to the Resident Fund at the Lady Minto Health Care Centre, PO Box 330, Edam, SK S0M 0V0, where Nancy resided for 9 years. We would also like to thank the staff at Lady Minto for the wonderful care mom received while she lived there. Thank You.
A private family interment will take place at Edam Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
