Vivian Irene Hanson

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mrs. Vivian Hanson on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Lady Minto Community Centre in Edam, Saskatchewan, at the age of 105 years.  

Funeral Service for Mrs. Hanson will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Edam Heritage Hall (Edam United Church) with Reverend Canon Donald Skinner officiating.  

Vivian is survived by her two daughters: Sharon (Ted) Brydges and Sheila (Paul) Petten; Grandchildren: Melanie (Don) Down, Lanna Brydges, Trevor Brydges, Bryce (Cara) Baillargeon and Lee (Andrea) Baillargeon: three step-grandchildren: Paula Pearson, Perry Petten and Paul Petten (Jr.); Eleven great-grandchildren: Bryanna, Kiara, Bailey, Blayne, Danika, Charlotte, Ryan, Alexa, Brett, Logan and Ella; Three step-great grandchildren: Evan, Jesse and Brendan.

Vivian was predeceased by her husband, Clarence (1997); and her two brothers: Clarence and Elmer Ayre; also, four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Hanson be directed to: Edam Seniors: Box 75, Edam, Saskatchewan S0M 0V0 or Lady Minto Community Trust Fund Committee: Box 330, Edam, Saskatchewan, S0M 0V0. Cheques made payable: PNRHA Lady Minto Community Trust Fund.
