Aunty Donna, Cathy, Christie and Cherie, I was saddened today to hear about Uncle Wally's passing. Our sincerest condolences to all of you. I will never forget our stays at your house in the summer, talking with Uncle Wally about his stories of the old days, the fun rides across the farm in his pick up truck, and his big voice and big heart. Our prayers and love are with you always.

I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss, Aunty Donna. Although I was quite young when I last saw Uncle Wally, I will always remember him as a big man with a big heart. My thoughts are with yourself, Cherie, Christie and Cathy.

I was saddened to hear of Walter's passing. He was such a jovial fellow, strong and always a friend to me and Gordie. You will miss him terribly, but every now and then something will happen to remind you of him and you will cry, laugh and then smile as you cherish his memory forever. Keep faith and know my sympathies are with you today and always.

"Mom", Christie, Cathy and Cherie. It doesn't seem possible that over a year has passed since we last stopped by to visit. It doesn't seem like 35 years have passed since Darrell and I became part of the family. The times we spent with you all were always a joy. Sitting around the kitchen table eating sausage and sipping on Golden Wedding whiskey are among my fondest memories. I can't believe how patient you were with a bunch of goofy young men (including Wally) as we regularly invaded your home. Life is so short and I am so thankful for the blessing of being welcomed into the family. Time and distance never diminish the bond. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers, not just in these difficult times but at all times. May God bless you all. Love Lindsay
